Neighbouring our city to the north is the community of Minden. Camp Bucko is located at Kinark Outdoor Centre facility near Minden. Our association made a small contribution to this wonderful organization. Please have a look at their site.

What a Success!!

The City of Kawartha Lakes Firefighter's Association is proud to have donated funds to the womens Breast Cancer Survivors Dragon Boat Team, The Dragon Flies, to help with the payment of their chase boat.
 
At our January 2005 Firefighter's Association meeting, cheques were presented to the Lindsay Boys and Girls club, Lindsay Womens shelter, the local food bank and MADD Lindsay chapter.
 
(2005)At the Annual Bowl for Kids Sake, the City of Kawartha Lakes Firefighter's Association pledged funds to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kawartha lakes-Haliburton Region. Pictured with a Firefighter are Jim DeFlorino Executive Director and honourary Chair Person Julie Corlett.
